Almost a full house this evening, the usual motley crew assemble to compete on the blood and gore drenched turf that is the BloodBowl field.

- Sheldon back from saving SHELDONOPOLIS
- Gruff ( WOW not last for a change)
- Northern Lighter Thief (bringing in the weed, bringing in the weed, we shall work together etc. etc.)
- FNG didn`t show again, working late. (Maybe he avoid us)
THE EVENINGS ACTION
Tonight we play the second half of Morph`s Dwarves ( DEVITO`S DEVILS) against Northern Lighter Thief`s Elves (MORNING WOOD). Taking off from where we left it last week with MORNING WOOD up by 2 TD`s.
DEVITO`S DEVILS kick off, MORNING WOOD storm up field at breakneck speed.After more pathetic blocking from the Dwarves ( they only manage to get their other Trollslayer killed) the Elves stroll in untouched for a 3rd score.3-0 MORNING WOOD !
On the ensuing kick-off,the fans having seen more than enough,invade the pitch and attack the Dwarves, when the dust settles and the screaming stops it`s discovered that they killed a Dwarf lineman.
When play resumes although short (HA HA ) a player the DEVILS get and keep their shit together,holding on to the ball until they score a consolation Touchdown, but as their legs are small this takes the rest of the half.

MORE ACTION
Second game of the evening was between my Orcs ( DA DEFF SKWAD ) and Gruffs Necromantic Undead ( NEVERMORE RAVENS).We rolled the gate and 37,000 fans showed up.
RAVENS kick-off putting the ball deep into the Orcs half. DA DEFF SKWAD pick up the ball and proceed to rumble up to the half-way line, the blocking is ferocious and several of the RAVENS are left stunned in the Orcs wake.
This set the stall out for the Orcs as they ground the ball up field on every turn. The RAVENS are battered again and again, but no one sustains any serious damage..
On the sixth turn off the half as the Orcs are grinding out the hard yards towards the Endzone the brutal blocking finally claimed it`s first victim. Unfortunately it was an Orc Lineman, he fractured his arm putting him out for the game.Not only is he out for this game,he also misses the next game and picked up a niggling injury. Oh well thems the breaks (GROAN).
The seventh turn proved to be successful for DA DEFF SKWAD as they rushed the ball in for a Touchdown. 1-0 DA DEFF SKWAD
This left little time for the NEVERMORE RAVENS to reply,so we just concentrated on beating seven shades out of each other till the whistle blew for half-time.Incredibly no further injuries were sustained.
DEFF SKWAD kick-off but a "bad kick" puts the ball out of play, resulting in a touch-back.RAVENS proceed to run the ball at the Orcs,both teams style of play should ensure some meaty impacts on the blocking front.Over the next few turns this is exactly what happens as the RAVENS rumble to the half-way line.Although this turned into a blocking war,nothing more than stunned results were turning up on the dice.
Then on the fifth turn of the half some game changing hits were made.Firstly an Orc Blitzer smashed a Zombie Lineman to the ground,hard enough to put him out for the rest of the game.(Although he passed his Regeneration roll and shook the injury off).This left enough space for another Orc Blitzer to get to the ball-carrier.The second bone-crunching hit smashed the ball-carrier into the crowd,knocking him out and resulting in the ball scattering into the crowd as well.The following throw-in puts the ball just in front of the Undead Endzone.
The next two turns are taken up by more vicious blocking and a mad sprint for the ball.The outcome of which is an Orc Lineman picking up the ball and "going for it" to score.2-0 DA DEFF SKWAD.
Scoring again on the seventh turn left almost no time for the NEVERMORE RAVENS to answer and pretty much secured the win.After a final turn of "revenge" hitting the whistle blew to end the strangely bloodless carnage.
FINAL SCORE:DA DEFF SKWAD 2 NEVERMORE RAVENS 0
POST GAME
The winnings were divided,team ratings and fan factors recalculated leaving us all looking forward to round two and a little confused.
Next time SHELDON throws his hat into the ring,with his first game.
You all thought I had neglected the"EXCUSE DICE"(copyright pending) but you would be wrong, NORTHERN LIGHTER THIEF rolled it and the result was "had to walk down as the car has no MOT, insurance or petrol". Pretty good one if you ask me.
More tales of mayhem and mirth next time.
